Drawing and Painting - Fundamentals - Thursdays
Embark on a colorful journey in our Drawing and Painting class designed for students 10year old and up. This class is better suited for middle and high school students as we study the basics of form, line, value, and drawing to scale using various techniques. The drawing part of the course encourages the use of mediums such as graphite, charcoal, and chalk pastels.
During the painting portion of the course, students will apply what they learned about drawing while using other art mediums. Students will learn the basics of watercolor and it's techniques, as well as acrylic painting. At the end of the semester, students will be able to make two final projects that will be shown at the exhibit at the end of the semester.
